Wildlife is one of the many reasons we are thankful for our location. Williamson County Recycle Center was originally slated to be located off Westinghouse road. After speaking with TCEQ about that location it was decided to build at 495 County Road 156, Georgetown, Texas 78626.We had purchased this location in 2001 and were considering putting in a different venue however with the events of 9-11 we elected to not pursue that venture and the property was vacant.

Our location is central both North and South, and East and West Williamson County. Most of our county’s population is located central and westward. Williamson County contains some of the fastest growing cities in the United States of America. We are constantly building roads to expedite the travel as we have an increase in population. This growth has pushed many animals in our direction.

Over the years we have seen many different types of animals at or near our recycle center.  We have seen bobcats, fox, deer, and tarantulas.  Here are some of the photos and as time goes on I’ll post more.
