Christmas and New Year closure will occur between December 22, 2015 and January 4,2016. The Christmas and New Year closure allows time for families to reflect on what the holiday season is about. Reflect on the birth, life, death and resurrection of our dear Lord Jesus Christ. While we may not know the exact date of the birth of Christ this is the time when we celebrate His birth. We hope that this season brings many blessings to you and your family. Enjoy the many festivities that allow for memories to flourish and your kids or grand kids to reflect upon in the future. May it bring smiles and tears of joy to you.
Our family enjoys going to Austin, Burnet, and also Belton lake. Austin has the trail of lights, yule log, and Christmas tree in Zilker park. This is a great activity to take your kids to. The First Baptist Church of Burnet creates a little Bethlehem. This is a great evening that does not cost but your children can see camels, donkeys, sheep, various other animals, People in costume, and a manger scene with the birth of Christ. People are in costume and play the part of those who they represent. It is a great experience for your kids! When I was a kid you could drive through the Trail of Lights in Austin, this was a memorable experience for me as a kid. While this is not an option now in Austin, we take our kids to Nature of Lights – Fort Hood at Lake Belton. There is a charge depending upon the size of vehicle you take but it is well worth the money. Please see the websites we linked to for additional information.
This past year has been a great year for both the Williamson County Recycle Center and our parent company, PA-jer Company. We have been blessed to have great employees join our company over the past year. And each person who we have had the opportunity to serve is a vital part of our success. We have seen many of our clients see their future brighten, business increase, and/or their family grow. Thank you for your support in previous years, this year and hopefully in the future. God Bless you and may each of you be richly blessed!
*Our operating plan requires that we shut down at least the Weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The Christmas and New Year Closure allows us to stay in compliance with our plan.
